Warranty Information
🎸 Guitar Dimension – Warranty Policy
At Guitar Dimension, we stand behind the quality of every instrument we sell. Because we work with premium boutique and established brands, most of our products include strong manufacturer warranties. Our warranty policy is designed to complement those protections and ensure that every customer receives fair and reliable support.
1. Manufacturer Warranties (Primary Coverage)
Many of the brands we carry offer a lifetime warranty for craftsmanship and material defects, valid for the original owner only.
Whenever a manufacturer provides a warranty that is equal to or greater than ours, the manufacturer’s warranty takes precedence. We will assist you in determining the exact coverage for your instrument and help facilitate claims when needed.
2. Guitar Dimension Warranty Coverage
When a manufacturer warranty does not offer longer coverage, Guitar Dimension provides the following protection:
A. Craftsmanship & Structural Workmanship — 1 Year
Guitar Dimension warrants the craftsmanship and structural integrity of the instrument for 1 year from the date of purchase.
This includes:
-
Structural defects
-
Glue or assembly failures
-
Neck joint issues
-
Bracing defects
-
Other workmanship-related failures
If the manufacturer already provides longer or lifetime workmanship coverage, their warranty applies instead of ours.
B. Electronics & Factory-Installed Equipment — 1 Year
We warranty all factory-installed electronics and hardware components for 1 year, including:
-
Pickups
-
Controls, switches, and pots
-
Jacks and wiring
-
Onboard preamps
-
Tuners, bridges, and hardware items
Coverage applies to manufacturing defects only.
3. Warranty Repair Process
Most warranty repairs are handled through reimbursement, not direct in-house repair.
To qualify:
-
All repairs must be pre-authorized by Guitar Dimension.
-
We may request photos, videos, or inspection prior to authorization.
-
Once approved, repairs must be completed by an authorized technician or competent luthier.
-
Reimbursement will be issued after repair documentation and receipts are provided.
Unauthorized repairs may void warranty coverage.
4. What’s Not Covered
The following are excluded from both manufacturer and Guitar Dimension warranties:
-
Normal wear and tear (frets, nuts, saddles, strings, finish wear)
-
Climate-related issues (humidity, temperature, UV exposure)
-
Finish checking, cracks, or warping caused by improper storage
-
Damage from accidents, drops, or misuse
-
Modifications or repairs not pre-authorized
-
Subjective factors such as tone, feel, action, or setup preferences
-
Used, demo, open-box, or consignment items (unless specified)
Proper humidity care (40–55%) is required to maintain coverage.
5. Warranty Disclaimer
Any warranties disclosed on the product pages will supersede this policy. This is particularly relevant for used instruments, demo models, or special cases where the manufacturer or Guitar Dimension provides alternative coverage.
